The kids in our lives have experienced a tremendous amount of change and loss due to COVID-19 – loss of school, the ability to participate in extracurricular activities (sports, art classes, etc.), and time with friends and extended family. They too are experiencing additional life stressors as their brains process this season. My friend, Dr. Sharonne Herbert, a board-certified clinical and adolescent psychologist joins me for a conversation on how to care for kids’ mental health. Dr. Herbert is passionate about working with parents of children with disruptive behaviors and children with anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, and tic disorders.
